Clashes between police and Kos residents over construction of hotspot
Clashes have broken out between riot police and the residents of the island of Kos at the old military camp of Pyli who protested against the construction of a hotspot on the island.
Police threw tear gas and chemicals and according to protesters two of them were sent to hospital while others had respiration problems.
Four riot police squads from Athens are on the island from Friday morning and the condition on the island is very frail.
