Wildfire starts in Koromilia, Domokos in Fthiotida

A wildfire started on Sunday in a area of mixed farmland and forest in Koromilia, in the Domokos region of Fthiotida. According to the fire department, the fire started at 14:31 and a force of 51 fire-fighters with two teams on foot, seven aircraft and one helicopter have mobilised to put it out.

Two warning messages from the 112 emergency number were sent to local residents, with the second instruction those in Koromilia to evacuate toward Agios Stefanos.
