Police arrest suspected drug trafficker in Polygyros, Halkidiki

The Polygyros Drug Squad has arrested a man who was hiding quantities of drugs in his house. Police found 17 kg and 640 grams of cannabis in 21 packages, 1kg and 311 grams of cocaine divided in two packages and two precision scales. In another house used by the suspect in a different area, police found two packages of cannabis weighing 1.015 kg, 685 grammes of MDMA and an electronic precision scale. All the above were confiscated, along with a vehicle used by the suspect, two mobile phones and 2,950 euros in cash that were found in his possession.

The suspect will appear before a Thessaloniki prosecutor.
