Dendias: Four years since the signing of the EEZ delimitation agreement with Egypt

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias, in a post on X on Tuesday, referred to the fourth anniversary since the signing of an EEZ delimitation agreement between Greece and Egypt.

As he underlined, he had the honour to sign on behalf of the Hellenic Republic "with the then foreign minister of the friend country, Sameh Shoukry."

"With the signing of the agreement, we protected our national interests and confirmed that the observance of International Law and the International Law of the Sea is a necessary condition for the delimitation of maritime zones in our region," Dendias said.
