First payments of state relief made to victims of recent Attica fires

The first state relief for the victims of the Attica fires of August 11, amounting to 542,781.51 euros, was paid to 121 beneficiaries on Monday, following the submission of the first applications for assistance to the arogi.gov.gr platform.

According to the climate crisis and civil protection ministry, these included 114 property owners following cross-checking, while 20,000 euros was paid to seven businesses, in the form of initial aid against subsidies, after cross-checking the applications submitted to the Attica Region.

The process of cross-checking will continue as new applications are submitted so that further payments can be made.
