PASOK is back and ready to assume its responsibilities, PASOK-KINAL leader Nikos Androulakis said on Sunday during the party's central political committee.

"Citizens demand convincing solutions here and now. The time has come for the country to turn the page and for the citizens to regain perspective and hope. Be sure that PASOK, as the next progressive government of the country, will fight for a new creative path," he underlined.

"The members and friends of our party will be called upon to decide not only the person who will lead PASOK but something more important: The style, ethos and direction that the next government of the country will have," he noted.

Androulakis emphasized that it is time for the next big step. "Putting an end to the failure of the New Democracy government," he pointed out, harshly criticizing the Mitsotakis government for the policy it follows at almost all levels.
