Amendment for Greece-Cyprus electrical interconnection passes in Parliament
The bill of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, "New Development Program of Public Investments", was passed on Friday by the Plenary Session of the Parliament.
Ruling New Democracy voted in favour of the bill in principle, while all the opposition parties voted against it, except for the Spartiates who declared "present".
The bill included the amendment for the electrical interconnection between Greece and Cyprus, which was voted by New Democracy, PASOK, and Greek Solution (Elliniki Lysi). SYRIZA, New Left (Nea Aristera) and Spartiates declared "present" while KKE together with NIKI and Plefsi Eleftherias voted against.
