Local residents protested against drug trafficking in the area and expressed anger against the Roma living nearby. The train tracks at Aharnon train station have been blocked by protesters.

The march follows the death of an 11-year-old boy from a stray bullet during an open-air party for schoolchildren on Thursday night.
