Energy Min Hatzidakis: Up to 65 pct reduction on PPC night rates for households
From 30 percent to 65 percent reductions to those that have very high electricity consumption foresees the draft law on PPC, said Energy and Environment Minister Kostis Hatzidakis to SKAI TV on Saturday.

According to skai.gr website, Hatzidakis said that the provision was considered necessary in order to "correct an injustice". This reduction mostly refers to households’ electricity consumption rates during the night and will benefit those who use heat accumulators in the winter.
On the low consumptions, Hatzidakis said that the tariffs will remain low.
On the changes in PPC, he said what with the new provision that abolishes permanency the consumer will see reductions and better services.
