FM Dendias: Greece-US new defense agreement marks 'a very good day for our country'
Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias told reporters that the signing of the upgraded five-year Mutual Defence Cooperation Agreement (MDCA) with his US counterpart Antony Blinken marks "a very good day for our country."
It is a development that secures Greek interests, protects the country, and lays the groundwork for US investments in defense facilities, he added
Moreover, both of Greece's new defense agreement with the US and its recent one with France are not directed against anyone in particular.
On the contrary, he underlined, it creates an axis of stability, and improves the quality of life of societies in the region.
