Greek president visits central Athens stores during holiday shopping hours
Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou paid a visit to Athens stores on Friday, Christmas Eve.
The president stopped by a bookstore on Akadimias, buying books for friends, and spoke with staff and customers.
She then walked to Evripidou Street and exchanged wishes with people she met on her walk. She paid a visit to an herb store, one with traditional cheese products, and another with cold cuts.
Following her walk, she ate lunch at a traditional restaurant in the area with her colleagues.
