Mitsotakis: The best proof of what we have achieved so far is our work

"Our government has completed three years of hard work and the best proof of what we have achieved is our work, we want to speak with works, not just words," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday, addressing New Democracy (ND) voters and friends at a cafeteria in a central pedestrianised street in Serres.

"We answer with works to our political opponents, who are complaining and undermining us," he said, adding that ND will "proceed to the general elections in 2023 with self confidence".

He said that the government will continue to support every Greek against the energy crisis, underlining that "we are going through difficult times in the midst of an unprecedented geopolitical and energy crisis. I do not believe that there was ever a government that had to handle more difficulties in such a short period as ND's government in these last three years."

Mitsotakis asked the citizens to have patience as he will have the opportunity to present the support framework for the Greek economy and Greek society during the difficult winter that was coming at the upcoming Thessaloniki International Fair.

"We will stand by any Greek, we will respect the limits of the fiscal space and we will prove again that this party is not for the easy times but for the difficult," he said.
