Varvitsiotis: Erdogan's revisionism has no audience in the EU
He also noted that revisionism as a concept can't be accepted today in Europe for guaranteeing a framework of peace, stability and constructive relations between states.
Varvitsiotis also pointed to the escalation of Turkey's revisionism, which now even questioned the Greek islands' sovereignty, and said this was not accepted by either Greece or by the international community. Asked about the possibility of the activation of the Turkish-Libyan agreement, he pointed out that this has not been legally ratified by the Libyan parliament.
On the energy crisis, he said that the energy issue has been discussed for a long time in Europe and, referring to the prime minister's article to Bloomberg, that "the time has come to take the necessary decisions".
Varvitsiotis is to accompany Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the European Council in Prague on October 6.
