Turkish military UAV illegally flies over Greek islets near Astypalaia

A Turkish military Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) entered the Athens flight information region without submitting flight plans and violated Greek airspace by flying over the Trianisia islets near the island of Astypalaia at 19,000 feet, at 12:06 on Sunday, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff announced.
The Turkish drone was recognised and intercepted in accordance with international rules and standard practice.
