PM Mitsotakis: 'Gov't will continue standing by society'
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday told an assembly of New Democracy regional party representatives that "we will stand by society over the next few difficult months."
The governing New Democracy party "will implement the entire package of our commitments as precisely as they were presented last month at the Thessaloniki International Fair."
The government is able to support Greek society due to the country's high development and its fiscal flexibility; "through investments, tourism and exports, we are indeed able to take care of the most vulnerable people, and to reassure Greeks that we will be stand by them during the upcoming difficult winter."
Greece, stressed the Premier, "is now leading developments in Brussels, and is a protagonist in shaping European policies for the benefit of European citizens."
