Sakellaropoulou stresses importance of unity

President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Wednesday underlined the importance of unity in order to face the great challenges of our time, in the statement made after the doxology at the holy church of Agios Dimitrios.

Upon her arrival in Agios Dimitrios, Sakellaropoulou was welcomed by the head of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, and the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, the Deputy Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Stavros Kalafatis, the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, and the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Konstantinos Zervas.
