Operation of commercial stores is allowed on Nov 6
The opening of retail shops is to be permitted next Sunday, November 6, throughout the country, from 11:00 to 20:00, according to an amendment submitted to the Parliament on Tuesday in a bill of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
Opening is optional and not mandatory.
The regulation comes after the abolition of the mid-season sales, during which shops were allowed to open on the first Sunday of November.
This is a transitional arrangement until the implementation of a new framework for the optional operation of shops on Sundays, which will be posted for a period of public consultation.
