Europe needs a skills revolution, Schinas says

"Europe needs a skills revolution," the vice-president of the European Commission, for promoting our European Way of Life, Margaritis Schinas, said on Saturday at an innovation competition event, held at the Digital Transformation and Digital Skills Center of the Cisco company in Thessaloniki.

The event was organized by the organizer of the international digital innovation festival WMF (We Make Future), the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the Cisco facilities.

Schinas, on the occasion of the event, underlined that Thessaloniki, like the whole country, benefits from the presence of research and educational centers, European organizations, as well as from the investments of large technology companies and added:

"All these make up the puzzle of innovative Greece, which now presents itself as a reality, not as a goal," Schinas underlined.
