Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias concluded his visit to Tirana on Wednesday with a lunch hosted in his honor by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Earlier Dendias met with his Albanian counterpart Olta Xhaçka, a meeting followed by expanded talks between the two sides.

The Greek FM also paid a visit to the Arsakeio Greek-Albanian College, where he met with professors and students learning the Greek language. He was also welcomed by Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and All Albania at the Albanian-American school Protagonists, which operates under the "Spirit of Love" Foundation of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania.

Commenting in a tweet on his lunch with Rama, the Greek Foreign ministry said they talked about bilateral relations, Albania's European prospects, and regional developments.

Dendias previously visited Albania in October 2020 and May 2022, while Xhaçka visited Greece in early December.
