KINAL: The downgrading of degrees in artistic studies is unacceptable

Opposition PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis on Tuesday received at his office in parliament the Panhellenic Federation of Entertainment in the wake of a presidential decree that downgrades the artistic studies degree" a party announcement said.

Androulakis reminded that he had discussed the specific issue during his visit at the National Theatre a few days ago while today he appeared in favour of a fruitful exchange of views in order to find the best way to deal with the problem" contrary to the 'government's reluctance'.

He also characterised the presidential decree which equates professional artists with high school graduates in terms of training unacceptable, underlining that culture is a pillar of extroversion and all the problems of the sector should be addressed.
