PM Mitsotakis: Today we export 41 pct of our GDP

The prime minister, in a press conference on Monday, noted that country's growth in 2015-2019 had been roughly one quarter of European average rate.

Regarding the change of Greece's productive model, Mitsotakis said that this has changed a lot but there was still a long way to go.

In comparision with 2010, the Greek economy has become much more open and competitive, he said. "Today we export 41 pct of our GDP in goods and services and obviously this does not only concern tourism and shipping. It also concerns significant exports of goods in many different sectors where Greece has improved its competitiveness," he explained.
