SYRIZA-PA: The people will cancel MItsotakis' plans

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, in an announcement on Friday, said that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' interview with the public broadcaster ERT on Thursday evening constitutes "a monument to insulting the citizens' intelligence and logic".

It commented that "Mitsotakis more or less told us that the upcoming elections have no value and that he will not hesitate to drag the country into a second and third round, until he extorts a majority for his party".

SYRIZA claimed that Mitsotakis "was once again unable to conceal his terror over the election result and the progressive governent that is coming" and "in his panic from the international outcry over the violation of the rule of law...made the unthinkable statement that the main opposition will question the electoral process."

"We reassure him that SYRIZA-PA will not question the electoral process, not because it has trust in him but in the institutions of Hellenic democracy, which however hard he tries, he cannot corrode to such an extent."
