Death toll from Tempi train crash has risen to 46, fire brigade announces

The number of confirmed dead retrieved from the wreckage of the deadly train collision in Tempi has risen to 46, fire brigade spokesperson Vasilis Vathrakogiannis announced on Thursday.

The accident occurred late on Tuesday, when a passenger train heading to Thessaloniki collided with a freight train moving along the same track in the opposite direction.
