Thessaloniki Documentary Festival begins without opening ceremony

Planned screenings for the 25th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival began in the northern Greek city of Thursday evening without holding the usual opening ceremony, which was cancelled due to the three-day mourning declared in Greece for the Tempi train disaster.

The screenings of the 2023 festival kicked off with the documentary "La Singla" (Spain, Germany 2023, 95').
