During his stay in Ottawa, Dendias and his Canadian counterpart Mélanie Joly, together with delegations from the two countries, will have talks during a working breakfast on Wednesday at 8:45 (local time).

Once the talks are completed, the two foreign ministers will travel to Montreal, where they will attend a dinner given in their honour by Canada's expatriate Greek organisations.

Dendias and Joly will next visit the centre of the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal and the Greek school "Socrates-Demosthenes" and are then scheduled to make joint statements to the press at 14:45 local time.

The two ministers are also scheduled to visit an Orthodox Church and meet the Orthodox Archbishop of Canada.

The talks during the visit are expected to focus on the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, their cooperation within international organisations, their shared commitment to common values and principles and issues relating to the Greek community in Canada.

There will also be a discussion on international and regional affairs, such as the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
