SYRIZA's Tsapanidou on Greece's World Press Freedom Index ranking

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Popi Tsapanidou, in a recorded message on Wednesday, said that: "For another year Kyriakos Mitsotakis' Greece is at the bottom as regards the freedom of the press".

"In the world rankings, most European countries are situated somewhere up to the 55th place. Greece, however, occupies the 107th place," she noted and added: "We can nevertheless take pride in surpassing Chad. I wonder whether Mr. Mitsotakis will question these figures, as he did those of the Organsiation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)?".
