Tsipras: Greece wants change, a chance to breathe, and justice
If Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis comes first in the upcoming elections on May 21, "he will form a patchwork government with blackmail and pressure," warned SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras in Arta on Friday.
Speaking from his NW Greece hometown, Tsipras conveyed a message of victory. Greece, he said, "is not anyone's property. Some were born princes and believe that the state and the country belongs to them. I come from a modest and small village on Mt. Tzoumerka."
Tsipras expressed his certainty that his party will come first in the elections in this region and called on voters' support to defeat "the cartels, which made millions from the crisis and bring change that the country needs."
Greece will become red, he said, referring to the party's colors, because "Greece wants change, a chance to breathe, and justice," he underlined.
