Political change is a national necessity, Tsapanidou says

"After his failure in the debate, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis confirmed today, one week before the elections, that the Greek people cannot expect from New Democracy any improvement in their daily lives, any guarantee for the rule of law and the defense of our national interests," main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Popi Tsapanidou said in a statement regarding the prime minister's interview earlier in the day.

Tsapanidou claimed that "today's interview of Mr. Mitsotakis confirmed why on May 21 political change is a national, social and political necessity. With the victory of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance and a progressive government of cooperation from the next day."
