Tsipras should listen to what voters have to say instead of insulting them, gov't spokesman
SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras should stop acting like an arrogant sovereign himself and listen to what Greek citizens said through their ballots, State Minister and government spokesman Akis Skertsos on Tuesday.
After meeting with the Greek president on the exploratory mandate, Tsipras expressed concern for Greece entering a second term of a government that "does not respect the rule of law, democracy, or pluralism."
Skertsos commented about Tsipras, "Instead of constantly impersonating the authentic voice of democracy and society, he should climb down from his own chair of an arrogant leader to better hear what voters told him. Only then will he be able to finally carry out his self-criticism - outstanding since 2019 - without insulting them any more."
