UN Secretary-General Guterrez on Pylos: 'Another horrific shipwreck in the Mediterranean'
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called the Pylos shipwreck on Wednesday "another horrific shipwreck in the Mediterranean," and said that everyone seeking for a better life deserves safety and dignity.
"Another horrific shipwreck in the Mediterranean - this time near Greece - has claimed the lives of scores of people. As I’ve said before - every person searching for a better life deserves safety & dignity," Guterrez said in a tweet.
