Meeting at the Foreign Ministry on the evacuation of foreign citizens from Rhodes
A meeting chaired by Foreign MInister George Gerapetritis is underway at the Foreign Ministry about the developments with the wildfires on Rhodes, diplomatic sources said.
Gerapetritis visited on Sunday the Crises Management Unit of the Foreign Ministry and gave instructions for the further management of the situation, the same sources said.
At Foreign Minister's order was activated on Saturday 22 July, the "Crises Management Unit to facilitate the evacuation of foreign citizens in Greece due to the developments with the wildfires", a Foreign Ministry announcement said.
