Very high temperatures to prevail in most parts of the country at the end of week
There will be a small rise in temperatures on Monday compared with Sunday in most parts of the country, with rain and storms in the northern parts of Greece.
According to the latest forecast of Athens National Observatory's/meteo.gr weather service, the maximum temperatures on Monday will increase by 3 degrees on the Celsius scale in western Greece and Crete in comparison with Sunday.
A further increase in temperatures is expected in the next few days in a large part of the country, with the maximum temperatures reaching very high levels for the season at the end of the week.
