Prosecutor presses charges against 3 individuals who held 13 migrants in N. Greece
The Alexandroupolis prosecutor on Friday pressed charges on three individuals arrested in northern Greece for detaining 13 migrants who had entered Greece illegally.
The three men had forced the migrants - who were later arrested on suspicions of arson - into a trailer.
They were charged with racially motivated crimes, physical abuse, kidnapping and exposure to danger. The foreign national driving the car pulling the trailer was also arrested and charged with violating the law on personal data.
Meanwhile, the 13 migrants of Syrian and Pakistani origin were charged with attempted arson endangering human life, construction and possession of explosives, and illegal entry to Greece.
