Government team visiting the fire-stricken areas of Evros

A government team is visiting the fire-stricken areas of Evros on Monday.

The team is headed by State Minister Makis Voridis, accompanied by Citizen Protection Minister Yiannis Economou, Rural Development and Food Minister Lefteris Avgenakis and Alternate Interior Minister Thodoris Livanios.

The team is also accompanied by Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Christos Triandopoulos, together with the Deputy Minister of Macedonia-Thrace Stathis Konstantinidis and the Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food Stavros Keletsis.

They are joined by the head Chief of the Hellenic National Defence, General Konstantinos Floros, as well as the director general of the New Democracy, Yiannis Smyrlis.
