Incidents shut down section of Oulof Palme street in Ilissia
The Oulof Palme street near Efroniou Street, near the University of Athens Dormitories, was shut down on Monday evening due to incidents.
Specifically, according to Hellenic Police, around 20:00 a group of nearly 20 individuals who had participated in a demonstration interrupted traffic with garbage dumpsters and set them on fire. They also threw rocks and other objects at police in the area.
There were no reports of injuries as of this writing.
