Greek president attending Three Seas Summit in Bucharest, Wed.-Thurs.
President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou will attend the two-day Three Seas Summit and Business Forum in Bucharest, as of Wednesday.
Sakellaropoulou was invited to participate in the Summit (Sept. 6-7) by Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis.
The Three Seas Initiative (3SI), organizing the forum, is "a politically inspired, commercially driven platform for improving connectivity between 12 EU member states allocated between Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas," according to its site. The 3SI partners include the United States, Germany, and the European Commission.
