Four crew members of the Blue Horizon ferry were prosecuted on Wednesday for the death of a 36-year-old male passenger after being pushed off the boat at ter being pushed off the boat.

The victim tried to board the ship while the boarding ramp was down but was pushed off by crew. He fell into the churning water and drowned.

One of the four, the first officer of the ship who is seen on videos pushing the man off the ship, was charged with murder and with dangerous interventions in maritime transportation.

Another two crew members were charged with manslaughter, while the captain of the ferry was charged with dangerous intervention in maritime transportation.

The four were waiting at the Piraeus court building to be told the date of their testimonies.
