Death toll in Thessaly reaches 12; reported missing total is 5 people
The number of of people who died during the devastating 'Daniel' storm and floods in Greece reached 12 on Sunday.
According to the Fire Brigade, a body was retrieved by 8 firefighters between the villages of Agios Dimitrios and Petrinos in the Karditsa area in Thessaly, which was devastated by floods. The deceased was identified as a 58-year-old who had been included in a list of missing persons released by the Civil Protection and Climate Crisis Ministry on Saturday.
Currently those reported missing total 5 individuals.
