Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou paid a visit to the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair on Monday afternoon, meeting with her Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev at the pavilion of Bulgaria, this year's honoree at the Fair. Bulgaria has been participating in the Fair since it opened in 1926.
The two presidents toured the pavilion and were briefed by exhibitors on Bulgarian applications and services, such as first drone cargo to be produced globally, and innovative applications of information and technology companies.
Following that, Sakellaropoulou was accompanied by Interior Minister for Macedonia-Thrace Efstathios Konstantinidis and TIF President Anastasios Tzikas in touring the Fair overall. They started from the National Defense pavilion, where the president was briefed by Armed Forces officers of upgraded defense systems in the three branches of national defense.
