SYRIZA will request party leaders' debate in Parliament on catastrophe in Thessaly, Famellos say

In a plenary discussion, Famellos noted that the region's residents were desperate for their futures and will become angry. But the main opposition party, wishing for a way to resolve issues, is "assuming the initiative to bring the issue before Parliament for discussion, about both how we got to this point and what needs to be done today and tomorrow."

Famellos said that Syriza is tabling immediately "a question and request to the prime minister to provide documents on the government's actions to guarantee EU funding for the restoration of destruction in Thessaly and the restoration of local economy." As he underlined, "We are requesting that he provides us with all the documents."
