Hatzidakis in Luxembourg for Eurogroup and ECOFIN meetings

National Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis will go to Luxembourg on Monday to take part in the Eurogroup and ECOFIN meetings.

The Eurogroup meeting agenda includes a discussion on the Transatlantic Economic Dialogue in the presence of US secretary of the treasury Janet Yellen. They will also discuss that future of the European capital markets, the digital euro, the contribution of the growth and resilence plans to meeting of the economic priorities of the eurozone and the results of IMF annual meeting that was held in Marrakesh.

On Tuesday, the ECOFIN meeting will be held focusing on the reform of the rules of economic governance. The daily agends also includes a briefing on the implementation course of the Recovery and Resilience Fund, a discussion on the economic impact of the war in Ukraine and the coordination of the European institutions ahead of the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COPS28) that will be held in Dubai.

On the sidelines of the conferences, Hatzidakis will have a series of meetings with European officials.
