Two quakes jolt the island of Kassos

Two light earthquakes measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale were recorded on Thursday at 10:18 and 10:24 off the island of Kassos, the Athens National Observatory's Geodynamics Institute announced on behalf of the Hellenic Unified Seismic Network.

The first quake's epicentre was located in the sea region 28km west-southwest of the island of Kassos.

The second tremor was located in the sea region 29km west-southwest of Kassos
