Ships stay docked in several ports due to high winds on Saturday
Ships in several Greek ports are docked on Saturday due to strong northerly winds that have registered as high as 9 in the Beaufort scale in some parts of the Aegean.
The ports of Rafina and Lavrion are closed, and so is the Rio-Antirio maritime route, while in northern Greece ships do not sail between Alexandroupolis-Samothraki, Kavala-Prino and Keramoti-Thassos.
In the Argo-Saronic gulf ferries are sailing off with restrictions, including hydrofoils, while larger vessels at the port of Piraeus are sailing off without issues.
