Androulakis said that "the uprising of Athens Polytechnic students on November 17, 1973 was one of the most glorious moments of Greek modern political history. We honour all those that died, struggled and had the courage to face the military dictatorship".

Concluding, Androulakis said that "today we have the duty to fight for the respect of human rights. For strong public health and education. This is the only way to build a fair, strong and resilient society for all the Greeks".
