Fire prevention strategy begins in central Greece, says Kikilias in Lamia

Climate Crisis & Civil Protection Minister Vassilis Kikilias visited the city of Lamia on Friday, where he met with local government officials about early prevention planning ahead of 2024's anti-fire season.

Kikilias also briefed Fire Brigade officials about additional resources available through the AEGIS program, while mentioning that the value and contribution of volunteers is crucial in the fight against wildfires.
