Hellenic Aerospace Industry and Lehigh University of Pennsylvania sign MoU
The Hellenic Aerospace Industry and Lehigh University of Pennsylvania, USA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the fields of education, research and development and academic excellence.
Lehigh University is one of the top thirty US universities, which, at the initiative of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Ministry of Education, visited Greece in November 2022, with the aim of collaborating with Greek academic and research institutions.
Lehigh University is one of the first universities in the world in the field of Materials Technology and Engineering. Its main activities include among others Aeronautical Engineering, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) development, Space Technology.
The Hellenic Aerospace Industry's collaboration with Lehigh University is part of its plans to establish a Private Aerospace University, which will, among other things, include Pilot, Air Traffic and Airline Management Schools.
This plan is fully supported by the Ministry of Education.
