FM Gerapetritis to carry out successive visits to Jordan and Egypt
Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis is departing for Amman on Monday, where he will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of Jordan.
Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis is departing for Amman on Monday, where he will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of Jordan.
At the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gerapetritis will have a meeting with his counterpart, Ayman Safadi. After talks between the delegations of the two sides, joint statements by the two ministers to the press will follow.
On Tuesday, January 16, the foreign minister is expected to be received by King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Their talks will focus on the Middle East and on regional developments.
On Tuesday, after his meeting with King Abdullah II, Gerapetritis will leave for Cairo where on Wednesday he will meet with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry and be received by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
