PM Mitsotakis speaks on the phone with Ukrainian president Zelenskiy

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, to whom he expressed his support for Ukraine's European perspective.

They also discussed the latest developments ahead of the extraordinary meeting of the European Council in Brussels.

According to a government announcement, Zelenskiy thanked Mitsotakis for Greece's support of the start of EU-Ukraine accession talks in December 2023.

On his part, Mitsotakis noted that Greece will continue to support Ukraine bilaterally, as well as in the context of the EU and NATO.
