Kasselakis urges 'heartless government' to install donated heating units in special school

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis on Wednesday criticised the government for failing to install eight air-conditioning units donated by the main opposition party to the Special Vocational Education and Training Workshop (EEEEK) in Kallithea, saying it should not be afraid of "giving me 'points'."

"On September 27 I visited the [workshop]. Those in charge spoke to me about the problem that they and the children face in winter with the heating," he said in a post on social media. "On October 5 we made a small donation of eight air conditioning units, as our conscience dictated. Yesterday, I visited the EEEEK without warning. The units are still in their boxes, four months later," he said.

"I appeal to this heartless government: Don't consider that you are giving me 'points'. Consider that the donation was made by one of the oligarchs that funds your propaganda," the main opposition leader added, noting that the units should be installed immediately.
