Voridis: Meeting between the PM and farmers will take place, but not on Monday

The meeting between PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis and farmers will not take place on Monday, February 12, Minister of State Makis Voridis said on the main news bulletin of Greek broadcaster (ERT) on Thursday evening.

The meeting will take place, but the exact date and time is to be determined, Voridis said, without ruling out the possibility of its taking place on Tuesday.

Voridis attributed the postponement of the meeting to the farmers' not having clarified the composition of their delegation. The postponement would also give the government time to work out what its thoughts were on the issue and what to talk about, he added.
